The Chairman of the General Electricity Company, Dr. Muhammad Omar Al-Mashai, on Saturday, 11/21/2022 met at the headquarters of the General Electricity Company, with the Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Libya, Mrs. Debbie Hirst. She was accompanied by Mr. Ahmed Al-Ghazali, Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Libya.

This meeting comes within the framework of joint cooperation between the General Electricity Company and the leading American companies in the field of electric power production.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the cooperation with American companies to serve the stability of the network and raise its production capacity.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the two sides discussed the possibility of returning the services of American companies in the field of energy in Libya, as the previous ones from German and Turkish companies, and benefiting from the experience of American companies in the field of alternative energy, and reviewing the possibility of the American company to enter with its capabilities and capabilities in order to improve the electricity situation in Libya with plans whose results will be short Term.

The Chairman of the General Electricity Company praised the expected great effort and cooperation between the two parties . Mrs. Debbie Hurst, Director of the Chamber, emphasized urging the specialized American companies to exert maximum efforts in providing the necessary support.
