General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) hereby announces extension tender for Supply spare parts for TORISHIMA pumps for the al khams desalination plant . Thus, all competitive companies which have the required technical and financial capabilities which qualifies them to compete in this tender are kindly invited to buy brochure specifications Which will be available at the headquarters of the main committee to provide the needs of the company's general network at the main headquarters Swani Road / Tripoli as from 19/03/2023 until 03/04/2023 of the announcement in exchange for a sum of money of (500) Libyan dinars paid either in cash or a bank cheque at the Company's financial Dept. Naser Street/Tripoli.

All companies should comply the following conditions:

• The Bidder Shall has Official registration at GECOL.

• Competitive companies should be specialized in the tender subject as well as having the technical experience and financial capabilities qualifying them to engage in this tender.

• The Bidder Shall has experience not less than ten years with the same subject tender in North Africa and the Middle East, and provide a list of such projects especially in North Africa and the Middle East.

• Offers should be attached with special and type test certificates that cover the requested type of the subject tender.

• Offers shall be submitted according to the general conditions, technical and financial specifications described in the bidding documents.

• Offers must be submitted in (Two technical and Three financial) offers, each consists red waxed and stamped envelopes, as well as unpriced offer.

• Prices must be written in letters & figures.

• Delivery of materials by (CIF).

• The expense account of the inspection company and the expenses of opening the documentary credit must be taken into consideration.

• Tendering is done in the presence of the authorized persons from all competitive companies.

• Tender validity must be for not less than six months.

• Determine the period necessary to implement the contract subject of the tender.

• It should be taken into account that the containers for supplying materials will be owned by the General Electricity Company of Libya.

• The stamp tax of contracts is according to the Libyan tax law.

• Tender deadline for submitting on Monday 01/05/2023.

• Submitting an initial letter of guarantee (a bid bond) covering at least 0. 5% (half a percent) of the total amount set forth in the tender documents, and 2% as final insurance paid when selecting the best offer. This is done by letter of credit or a bank cheque endorsed by a commercial bank that is operating in Libya.

• Offers shall be submit ted on the company official papers which participating in the tender showing its logo, officially-authorized persons, full address (telephone number, email, etc.) on the envelopes.

• The General Electricity Company divides the purchase amounts among the bidders if the interest of the work so requires.

• The country of origin for the subject of the tender must be European, Japan Korea, Britain or North America, with an invitation to visit the factory
